Fixtures

There are three seasons of fixtures:  Summer, Winter and Spring

The Summer season kicks off the year in February.  There are a few week prior to the start of this season whereby players can come along to the sign-up and have some social play with others.

The Winter season will follow shortly after the finals of the summer season.  This usually starts sometime in May.

The Spring season follows after the Annual Ipswich Closed Tournament.  This usually starts sometime in September.

Format

The fixtures are run using teams of three persons.  Depending on the number of teams, there are two or three rounds where each team competes against all other teams.  Once all the rounds have finished, the semi-finals and finals decide the winning team and runner-up for that season.

The format changes depending on the expression of interest.  Two teams of three or four persons compete against a team from another club.  When playing at another club, travel to those other clubs can include long distances (up to 100 km).  Players are notified regarding the location of the other club prior to signing up.
